Refueling Station - WIP

Have acquired a copy of Yang Yu-tang's book showing his techniques in achieving his remarkable pseudo-photographic ink renderings of Chinese landscapes...  and am now attempting to apply some of these techniques to doing an imaginary landscape from my mind...  this is different more in trying to adapt some of his techniques as in doing a more detailed landscape than have done before...
these photos show using a worn 107 nib, which was at the time all had on hand, but seems sufficient for the foreground area...  have just acquired a new set of nibs, so will be using the 102 nib for the mid and especially the distant areas of this 20"x30" board work... being so detailed [his seem more to be 9"x12" or 11"x14", perhaps in a few to 16"x20"] and as such larger than his works, will take a wee more time in doing, but when seems sufficient to show, will post...  part of the trick already seen it to try and NOT overdo in all the areas, and eventually will need to add white to blade grasses in the deep areas [am guessing this was how he did it, from examining close-ups, as not able to read any of the Chinese text]...
