Beginning the first receding ridge - this is the first section, using diluted prussian blue [but not diluted enough, as the base of the rock pillar looks as if melded to it instead of being thrust out in front - will decide after the other sections are done whether to lighten it or to enhance the pillar shade side to bring it forth more]....

Finishing the tree, using sap green, emerald green, light green, process yellow, and antelope brown, I move on to the rock itself, using red earth...
And, for now at least, the rock is itself finished... so can get on with doing the back ground receding ridges...
