several rounds of glazing and drying between, now on the grass with emerals green - having to stop to rest hand..........(sigh)

after overlaying raw sienna over the red earth, and emerald green over the grass, overlaid dark green over the emerald green, cool grey on the platforms and the pond rock, marine blue on the pond, light coat of flesh over the greyed pond rock, I began adding various colors to the stones around the pond...

added raw sienna over some of the rocks and emerald green on some of the grass - next, dark green and lemon yellow on sunlit parts of the rocks...

seems now the only way to get a non-glare shot is by sloping it - so -
there are more layers to do on the rocks, so not presume it will be so red earth... same with other areas, as this a many glazed painting...
