slowly going, but moving along - much of the rock is with diluting the antelope ink, and yes sopping up excess when put too much water on [for this, the painting is on the drafting table, turned sideways so the left side is slightly downwards, as the table is slightly tilted - and am using the larger nib for this], and am in effect using the nib as if a brush, spreading the diluted ink over greater territory, yet trying to keep it so the detail comes thru...
am working my way across the bottom foreground to the left end - the vegetation is mostly done, just florals to be added, and another layering of color over the part previously done, sharpening the 'rocky'ness...
basically dealing with aesthetics, theory and personal practice... from an Objectivist position
