 finished the hair and the scarf [see below]... then beginning layering the coat with light green...

lemon yellow for the lit hair, raw sienna for the shaded, topped with yellow ochre...

after coating the grisaille with a gloss medium, am using F W Acrylic Flesh color ink for the lit face, and antelope brown for the shade, overlapping the edge to round it...
